EFC freeze-separates brine to produce purified water while recovering valuable target crystals.
The EFC (Eutectic Freeze Crystallisation) solution, manufactured by Everflo, treats high-salinity brines by cooling the stream under controlled conditions so that ice crystals and dissolved solids crystallise separately. The system then separates and harvests these phases, enabling purified water recovery and targeted crystal/solid recovery, while leaving a reduced-volume concentrated brine stream where required.
